Practice Philosophy

Dr Glass’ practice philosophy is based on the principles of excellence, integrity and a commitment to absolute discretion.

Excellence

Plastic Surgery is bespoke, technically exacting and artistically-conscious specialty that arose out of the need to blend form with function. There is no point in being able to create something that looks good if it does not first function as intended. This is why reconstructive surgery and aesthetic surgery are opposite sides of the same coin and the deepest understanding of one requires the deepest understanding of the other. To be the very best, a surgeon must learn to master all mediums. In surgical practice, this includes the bony facial skeleton as well as the overlying soft tissues.

Unlike most plastic and facial plastic surgeons, Dr Glass is an expert in managing all of the layers of the face, including the bones that form the foundations of the face.

Integrity

Plastic surgery is based on sound judgement as much as on technical mastery. Sound judgement is doing the right thing at the right time for the right reasons. This comes from a blend of rigorous training, prolonged experience and honest self-appraisal. We will always do our best to uphold the very highest standards of integrity, even going so far as to suggest not performing surgery when this is felt to be the best course of action.

Discretion

We want every patient to feel completely secure and comfortable. Dr Glass manages high profile clients and for this reason has chosen not to showcase his aesthetic work on social media platforms. You won't be asked to display before and after pictures for marketing purposes. So, you can relax, knowing that your case is managed with the utmost discretion.
